what error do you get?
maybe you are using different tnsnames.ora files in the oracle-homes for database and developer?

Which version of windows are you using? Search for 'OCSM client installation managed system administrator' on the web. I am getting information that your previous installation on the D drive was done by a 16-bit operating system.

What other Oracle products are on this machine?

You DID use a new Oracle home didn't you?

aamir,

Please, only run one thread at a time. Let's get your database installation working and THEN we'll worry about getting Forms to talk to it.
