I'm using forms 10g, buy I'm really a newbie.
I created a data block with the wizard, but when I executed the form and I tried to navigate with the smart bar but nothing happened. Then I used execute from the menu, and it worked.
I want to know, if it is possible to navigate the table automatically using the smart bar, without using the execute command?
since now, Thanks!
PD: My English isn't so good, buy i will practice.

I THINK you mean that when you started the form there was no data displayed, but after you did an execute query you DID have data and now you could use the 'next record' and 'previous record' buttons. Is this correct?
I am assuming that you have only one block in your form. To have this block populated on start-up then, at the form level, create the trigger When-New-Form-Instance, and put the command 'execute_query' in it.
