Dear Friends,

I would like to map the Right arrow key to the action like move to next item and the left arrow key to the action like move to previous item.

Is it possible thru forms 6i.

It is said that capturing the ascii char of the key pressed is not possible in forms and so some other way has to be followed to achieve this.

Thanx in advance.

Either use your own iconic buttons and use the When-Button_pressed trigger, or create a trigger that matches the button on the smartbar. The arrows are 'next record' and 'previous record'.

Dear david,
Thanx for reply, but still in my requirement the form is actually a calender and i cant put a button to naviagte between the dates. So at any cost, i should just use the arrow keys to traverse in the calender.

So what else can be done for this.

bye

Have you downloaded the calendar application from Oracle?

If no, get it. If yes, then see how they do it.
